One meal every 24 hours is normally all that’s required. Some Maremma Sheepdogs, however, prefer to eat 2 smaller helpings.
An adult Maremma dog will eat only until its full. 4 cups per day will normally suffice.
A Maremma puppy will eat only until its full. A cup morning and night will normally suffice.
A self feeder that is checked regularly is a great idea. Be sure the feeder always has food in it and remains dry at all times.
